Aurora Police searching for missing teen with physical disability

AURORA, Colo. — The Aurora Police Department is looking for a missing 14-year-old who left her home Wednesday evening and hasn’t returned.

Police did not provide a last name, but said Daphne, 14, left the home at the 2100 block of S. Richfield Way with a friend around 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Daphne is 4-foot-11-inches, 100 pounds, has a physical disability that causes her to walk with a limp and wears a hearing aid.

Police said Daphne does not have a history of running away and they are becoming increasingly concerned.

Anyone who sees her should call 911.
