Berthoud High School evacuated after reported bomb threat

A bomb threat at Berthoud High School sent students home early on Friday.

Berthoud High School was evacuated Friday morning in response to a report of a bomb threat at the school, according to the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office. 

A search of the building was completed and nothing suspicious was found, the sheriff’s office said about 11:30 a.m. Friday. 

As the report was investigated students were moved to Ivy Stockwell Elementary or sent home as a precaution. All students were safely evacuated and there were no reported injuries in the incident. 

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call investigator Justin Atwood at 970-498-5143.
