The city of Fort Collins is hosting the second in a series of equity-focused community conversations, this one focused on economic health and opportunity.
The event will take place Thursday from 5:30-7:30 p.m at the Fort Collins Senior Center, 1200 Raintree Drive. A light dinner will be provided, and childcare and Spanish interpretation are available upon request. The last conversation event featured presentations from city staff followed small group conversations and question-and-answer sessions with staff and attendees.
The city’s community conversation events are linked to Fort Collins’ Equity Indicators dashboard, which tracks local data that reveal inequalities in outcomes among Fort Collins residents. The economic health and opportunity portion of the dashboard tracks unemployment, representation among business owners, difficulty finding childcare and ability to afford nutritious meals.
