It’s spring and it looks like the start of the season is going to be pretty wet and cool for Colorado! We are in for a series of storms set to bring widespread moisture back to the state.
Light snow continues to fall this morning and the roads are wet to slushy for the early morning commute.
Around 3-6 inches snow accumulation is possible for the urban corridor, with 5 to 12 inches over our northern and central mountains through Monday.
A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect across the Denver metro area until noon today. Skies gradually clear late Monday, with highs in the upper 30s to low 40s.
Tuesday will be a bit unsettled, with more mountain snow and a light rain-snow mix on the plains later tomorrow. That mix will turn to all snow on Tuesday night and our Wednesday morning commute could once again be a little sloppy.
