The man found dead in a parking lot between the Courtyard by Marriott and Carrabba’s in south Fort Collins last month has been identified.
The Larimer County Coroner’s Office identified the man as Michael Boothe, 45, of Cheney, Kansas. Boothe’s manner and cause of death are pending investigation and autopsy and toxicology results to determine whether Boothe died of natural causes or by accident. Foul play is not suspected, according to the report.
Fort Collins police responded to reports of a “person down” in the 1200 block of Oakridge Drive at 7 a.m. Nov. 22. When they arrived, they found Boothe lying next to a RedGuard company pickup just outside the east entrance of the hotel.
