DENVER — The snow has stopped falling along the Front Range, with around 1 to 3 inches for the Thursday morning commute. We picked up some heavier snow closer to the foothills, with around 6 inches near Boulder.
It was a slick morning drive, but will be much drier for the evening commute. Expect partly cloudy skies, but it will still be chilly. We’ll see highs in the upper 20s to low 30s this afternoon and that’s about 15 degrees below normal.
By Friday, milder weather will return, with highs in the 40s under a mostly sunny sky. Some snow showers will return to the northern and central mountains late in the day.
Saturday will be mild with highs around 50 degrees, but another storm that will bring 3 to 6 inches of snow to the mountains may also bring some showers or flurries late in the day for the Denver area.
Skies will clear on Sunday and temperatures will be a little cooler again with highs in the low 40s.
Warmer weather arrives next week with highs climbing into the mid to upper 50s!
