One person injured in stabbing at CSU-owned apartments in Fort Collins


Update: 6:30 a.m. Thursday: CSU police sent an all-clear message at 12:13 a.m. It said there is no ongoing threat to the CSU University Village community or public.

A stabbing was reported at Colorado State University’s University Village Apartments in the Campus West neighborhood about 7:35 p.m. Wednesday. 

CSU spokesperson Dell Rae Ciaravola said university police had confirmed one injury. The injured person is reported to be alert and suffering a non-life threatening injury, according to tweets from the campus police. 

As of 8:40 p.m. CSU police were still asking people to avoid the area between City Park & Plum Street.

No further information was immediately available.
