Update, Dec. 27, 2019: No charges were filed against the driver after the investigation was presented to the District Attorney.
Original story: A Poudre School District bus collided with a bicyclist Wednesday morning in front of Beattie Elementary School, sending the cyclist to the hospital.
The collision occurred at 8:45 a.m. at the front entrance of the school at 3000 Meadowlark Ave. in central Fort Collins.
Fort Collins police said Anna Price, 26, was riding her bicycle northbound on Meadowlark Avenue in the bike lane. A PSD bus driven by Marlon Poole, 71, was also traveling north on Meadowlark Avenue. The bus, which had students aboard, turned right into the school parking lot when the collision occurred.

The bicycle collided with the rear passenger side of the bus, according to police. The cyclist was transported to a hospital with moderate injuries. No students were injured.
The Fort Collins Police CRASH (Collision Reconstruction and Scene Handling) Team responded to investigate.
School administrators and counselors provided support for those who witnessed the incident, according to police.
Speed, drugs or alcohol are not suspected as factors in the crash.
