The warm weather streak will continue through Easter weekend with highs in the mid 70s to near 80 degrees for the Denver area and in the upper 50s to low 60s for the mountains.
The record high for Denver for Saturday April 3rd is 78 degrees, set in 1943. The predicted high is 80 degrees. On Sunday, the current record is 76 degrees, set in 1967. The predicted high is 78 degrees.
Easter Sunday will be very pleasant with early morning temperatures in the middle 40s, followed by the warm and dry conditions in the afternoon. Some high clouds will move across the state, likely giving us a pretty sunrise and sunset!
The warm and dry weather will hold through Monday, although clouds and winds will be increasing on Monday ahead of an approaching cold front.
The cold front will move across Colorado next Tuesday with a chance for mountain snow and rain showers for lower elevations on Tuesday into Wednesday morning. Temperatures will dip a bit into the low 60s Tuesday and just in the upper 50s on Wednesday.
Skies will clear Thursday and milder weather will return for the end of next week.
