A 36-year-old woman has died as the result of a Thursday morning crash in northern Larimer County, according to Colorado State Patrol.
The crash occurred around 7 a.m. about 13 miles west of Livermore on Larimer County Road 74E, also known as the Red Feather Lakes Road.
A 57-year-old male passenger in the vehicle driven by the woman was transported to Poudre Valley Hospital with unknown injuries. It was not known if the driver of a second vehicle involved, a 21-year-old male, was transported to PVH.
The Colorado State Patrol said the road was “extremely icy” where the crash occurred but it was not known if that contributed to the crash.
Names and places of residence of those involved in the crash were not immediately known.
