Seven years later: No arrests in Feb. 26, 2014 murder of Terrell Ephriam in Aurora

AURORA, Colo. — Exactly seven years ago, a 20-year-old man with developmental disabilities was found stabbed to death in Aurora. No arrests have ever been made in the case.

In a Facebook post Friday, Metro Denver Crime Stoppers said Terrell Ephriam, 20, was found stabbed to death around 4:50 p.m. on Feb. 26, 2014 at the Sand Creek Greenway Open Space near E. 28th Avenue and Wheeling Street in Aurora. Aurora police said he was “brutally attacked and stabbed on a pedestrian bridge” about 20 minutes from his home.

Ephriam had cerebral palsy and was developmentally disabled. He was described by family and friends as a hardworking, dependable and fun-loving man who enjoyed his life.

As of Friday morning, police have been unable to identify any suspects or make any arrests in connection to the case.

On the anniversary of Ephriam’s death, police are asking for anybody to come forward if they have information about the case.
