Boulder Police have identified the ten people who were killed during a shooting at a King Soopers Monday afternoon. Among those killed was a police officer responding to the 911 call, police said.
Multiple witnesses to the event said the gunman opened fire in the parking lot before moving inside. Police said the gunman was taken into custody after officers engaged with the suspect inside the store, shooting him. He was taken to a hospital and is in stable condition.
The 21-year-old, identified as Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa, faces 10 counts of first-degree murder and is awaiting transfer to Boulder County jail, according to police.
